We’re beyond tactics really. The players can say they are playing for the manager as much as they want but the effort they are giving is poor. I think Slot said it best after Ipswich match last year, tactics go in the bin if you don’t win your duels. This can be applied to a few areas, not tracking your man, tracking back, not pressing etc.
I wonder if the man management from Klopp to Slot has taken its time but is really showing with the players. Or maybe Heitenga was the guy that build everyone up and Bronkhurst is not as good.
