If Slot is not sacked today, than he still will be the manager next season.

I’m impressed. I can’t believe this team only conceded 2 goals.
I didn’t hate the approach it’s a European away against a very good side. We have dug in during away games before and got results. And it’s good that there’s an acceptance of the situation we’re in.
But it’s a worry I don’t know how you even set us up to get a result there.
It’s madness we set up in a shape to kill things and yet we repeatedly were carved open. It’s a similar problem against city we don’t have enough players that are pessimistic thinking ‘shit if I don’t get back here they could score’ there’s not enough that proper love defending. The manager needs to go but a lot of those lads need to look at that PSG midfield seeing them sprint back every time we had a chance

I just can’t see any legitimate reason to keep Slot now, except if he demands a huge payout and FSG somehow gets away with less expense from waiting til the summer. Even then I’d say it’s not worth the tradeoff though, if there’s a chance an interim or new manager can secure CL spot for next season
This was a horrible watch. We were incredibly disjointed and disorganized. There were no cohesion in pressing, nor was it any cohesion between any parts of the team. It was noticeable after the first five minutes and I really thought Slot would go back to a 433 formation before the first 20 minutes of first half.
We lack fitness, we lack tactical ability, we lack confidence and we lack manager in any sort of confidence in his own work. Trying 5atb for the first time ever In the most import game we got left is insanity.
There’s no way we can get worse under Gerrard, or any other stop gap, for the remainder of the season.

The reason slot is not getting sacked is because Hughes only works on Fridays and the two weeks in summer. Edwards is probably too busy crying or throwing a fit daddy FSG not buying him a new toy (club)
