Kieran Gill: the same day that Rosenior announced Enzo had been handed game ban – one source told us to take a look at Maresca’s new WhatsApp profile picture, using a quote for his photo on the app, and his newest one reads: ‘Stay true to your principles, and don’t sacrifice quality for profit”

Drama 👸 preparing for his City appointment lol

Nobody has wondered when players say they were confused when Maresca left, they mean Maresca is himself to blame? The guy just left without a word to them. Can you imagine how shitty it is for the players? You go into the dressing room after the game and the gaffer is gone. And now these shitposts.

Despicable. No wonder he still has so many fans lmao

  2. – If Chelsea sign Valentin Barco from Strasbourg this summer, more money will be due to Brighton, as they have a sell-on clause worth 10%.

    – Reece James is on course to return for Chelsea before the end of this season.

    – Levi Colwill could likewise come back from his ACL horror before the close of this campaign, barring any setbacks. Colwill is now training fully at Cobham and building up his fitness.

    – It is not known exactly when Maresca changed the picture, though it was not this current quote before the international break.

    – It could be a coincidence, but does come at an intriguing time when there has been criticism of Chelsea’s strategy, including from inside the club.

    – Rosenior has since indicated Chelsea are ready to tweak their process by considering proven players who can help them win in the now, rather than purely signing starlets for the future and who can be sold if necessary, sometimes at a profit.

    – Maresca has declined interview requests from the media since leaving Chelsea on New Year’s Day. He is continuing to be linked with succeeding Pep Guardiola at his old club Manchester City this summer.

Eh don’t care about Maresca, not with Chelsea anymore.

But it’s time we talked about Enzo. We need more from his position and he is an excellent player but something isn’t clicking. Have been a few goals over the last few weeks where Enzo lost his man or looked like he couldn’t give a shit. Then there are other games where he looks to be the most passionate player out there.

Ultimately, if RJ is going to be in the midfield, why not make him an 8? He has the power, speed, pace, recovery, passing ability and shit quality desired from that position. He could truly be Lampard-esque. It’s heavy on the legs though, idk just a thought.

The issue with chelsea fans is that they will complain about clearlake/blueco, the transfer business, etc. But when a player/manager does it, they’re wrong

  5. Maresca was a championship caliber coach escalated by Chelsea who is now playing the victim card so well. I was a big Maresca guy but he can straight fuck off. Dude is out of work and is closer to working in the Championship again than for a top 6 club.

    Lol Maresca.

I liked him as a manager – after being a bit underwhelmed when they first hired him – but I was disappointed at the way things went when he left.

I.e. surely when he joined he was aware of the management structure and hierarchy?

  7. I mean we sacrificed both quality and profit lmao didnt we make a record loss

  8. Why are we giving attention to something that was allegedly said on WhatsApp. Sure if it’s twitter or IG then that’s a bit mad. But cmon now something from WhatsApp that nobody (conveniently) can check. If he did do it good, the players should stand on business we’re against this shitty ownership and so are they which is good put pressure on them but most likely this is a Clearlake PR run.
