      Mo being made a scapegoat when he is being played in a way that takes use of absolutely none of his abilities really doesn’t sit well with me.

      At least for this system Frimpong has much needed pace but I still struggle to see us create anything with the slow ass football we play

      Gakpo and Salah dropped is 100% deserved, but I’m not sure it’s going to help much. Hopefully wirtz and frimpong can recreate some of their past magic and eki can link up with them effectively.

      Gakpo benched again, this guy really wants to keep his job. Neither he nor Salah can complain, justifiably, about being benched. Zero expectations, hope Isak is ready to get a run out and we can see him fit before the end of the season.

      This will be very interesting, not least the fact that this sort of lineup might play in a very similar formation as Alonso’s back 5 formation at Leverkusen.

      I’m as big a fan of Salah as maybe anyone on the sub, but he needed to be benched after that showing against City. He just seems mentally fragile right now.

      Good lord… it’s a back 4 with Kerkez and Gomez. Not that tough to see. Frimpong and Wirtz on the wings.

      While we lack attacking threat with just one up top, playing Mo and Gakpo has been carrying 2 ineffective players all season.

      We should at least be more solid and hard to break down and hopefully some individual brilliance from Wirtz, Ekitike or Szobo steals us something tonight

      I don’t hate it, it’s the CL quarters, let’s fucking go
