So there are 20,000 spaces on trains for each game.
There are 5,000 car parking spaces available at 150 a pop.
There are no trains running from Providence, where lots of TA are based, to the stadium.
You are looking at 30,000-40,000 people with no way of getting to the game.
at least russia and qatar were trying to sportswash so tried to make the fan experience good.

Unfortunately “land of the free” also means “figure it out yourself” and there’s absolutely no care for infrastructure or public transport. When the world cup was announced in the US I assumed to myself that this would be a good incentive to sort out the public transport here, but I couldn’t have been more wrong. I wasn’t alive for 94, but surely it can’t have been this bad back then?
