last night we had odegaard dropping deep to recieve and progress the ball which meant basically no one in the final third to play an incisive pass
then Odegaard stayed high for a short period before he came off and no one could get the ball to him because the build-up was so compromised
and people on here will say he didn’t do anything. Mad.
Is it just me or did it feel like some of the sporting players had perms?

There were a couple of moments yesterday where you could see the players themselves didn’t know how to build up play. Getting frustrated at each other, pointing to move etc.
My point being I think our boring, extremely slow build up play is not totally by design, but also by chemistry and having a good plan. Which is quite concerning when we are at the most important time of the season.
But if we win the title, who cares lol. That’s for next season

Saturday’s such a big game with context, a chance to be 12 points clear for the first time this season, and City has to sit on that for an entire day knowing if they don’t win, the league race is over.
Think this weekend could be the decider, even before the Etihad game, but yeah, not expecting any favours from City, we need to do our job beforehand.
