  1. Feels like it. Mike Gordon used to be pretty active when Jurgen was around.

Don’t hear much about his involvement now. Don’t hear much about anything else beyond the players and Slot.

    Hughes is almost invisible too.

I know we all hate FSG but they clearly did everything right on their part. Invested so much hired edwards and hughes. I feel like they have to sack slott tho and maybe hughes. He turned us into bournemouth .

  3. It’s a question that doesn’t really have an answer right now.  Letting LFC drift would be keeping Slot and only endorsing him with minor changes to improve the squad.  We’re still a long way off from that happening

They’re the defending champs. Saying they they’re letting the club drift because they didn’t fire the manager half way they the subsequent season is silly.

Slot is clearly gone to can tell that from all the reports an tweets coming out after city defeat, but it still don’t make sense to get rid of him when they had a game in a few days, now the return leg could be different

Realistically, outside of taking their sweet time sacking Slot, they haven’t really done much wrong. Whilst we haven’t always had the investment we as fans would like, they have kept us profitable in a time when a lot of big clubs are having issues balancing the books. Whether we like Edwards and co, it was a smart move from FSG to bring him back in his role.

  7. Fsg in the mud this season. Liverpool having an ass season and now their Red Sox are the worst team in baseball to start the season. Their crowd was chanting to sell the team at last nights game

Do you know what’s worse than producing something like this? The fact that there’s a fucking audience for this.

  9. I suspect they’ve already had a conversation which puts the onus on Slot to rescue his job/season or he’s gone.

Slot, Hughes & Edwards are all out of contract at the end of next season. I personally don’t think any of them will be at the club come September. You can’t say there isn’t a lot of work ahead in the next few months. That is before you look at the issues with the first team squad.

  11. Theres alot of reasons to hate FSG but there alot of reasons to like them as well . I think they do listen to the fan base now and again and they do spend money most of the time . there was times under Klopp when we needed a couple of big signings to keep us competeting with city and they wasnt interested in doing it and didnt do it and we paid the price for that . And they did make a couple of silly managerial appointments in Brendan Rodgers and Roy Hodgson but when we shouted we wanted klopp they did go get him . They’ve waited far too late to sack Slot tho and thats going to backfire big time !!

  12. FSG still has a lot of good will. They saved us from those two snakes Hicks and Gilette. Had an all time great response when Arsenal tried bidding for Suarez, brought in Klopp that kickstarted our greatest era in recent memory. Their only blunder would be the super league nonsense but other than that, they have been really great. I am sure they will make a decision before the start of the next season and I hope it is one that actually benefits the team because the talent to performance ratio makes no fucking sense.

They are letting this season drift, but as a whole…definitely not.

  14. Sounds like Edwards off then and they aren’t serious about a second club. Sounds like Edwards was all over the place on the project according to Molina anyway.

Could be Edwards, Slot, and Hughes maybe gone in a summer. Think Hughes has the highest chance of staying

With brilliant articles like this, it is clear that the demise of journalism has been vastly overstated /s

It’s likely the same nay-sayers who were always shouting “FSG Out!”.

Without them there wouldn’t have been an LFC as we know it. After the Gillette & Hicks debacle we were very close to going out of existence, but through careful expansion & planning at the training ground, stadium & team we returned to the top of English football.

Spending hundreds of millions in the 2025 summer transfer window with an aging team requiring an overhaul and players wishing to leave meant invariably changes had to happen and that as we’ve seen doesn’t always go smoothly.

Some fans really have one braincell and it’s lonely. Give yer heads a wobble and realise that ultra-competitive sports team ownership is ducking expensive & challenging.

If you’re not happy, then there’s a variety of options available to you:

Become a billionaire and buy the team and run it how you wish. – Probably unlikely as most morons who spout this doo-doo have trouble running a bath.
Quit supporting the team – You support a team through the tough times & the good. It’s a rollercoaster & no team ever stays at the top and never will. Get used to it. LFC didn’t start to exist only when a certain Mr Klopp joined us.
