Winning the FA cup in 13-14 earned him all the respect and rest in the world

Despite what was still a very solid career, I feel his story is one of what could have been. The injuries he had were not only terrible, but also came at very important points in his career.
Still, one of the most exciting players at a time when we did not have many and caused some massive deaths too!
Rambo, always loved his comeback after the leg break from that gorilla prick and his absolutely incredible 2013/2014 season.. it was the first time in a long time I enjoyed watching Arsenal and then he tops it off by scoring a winner in the FA cup final. Will always be a hero in my eyes!

What a player! Should’ve a PL medal. Best box to box player.
Legend!

As a Celtic and Arsenal fan… it broke my heart when he went for a spell at Rangers. Then he missed that penalty in the Europa final and was completely absolved!
Happy Retirement Rambo ❤️

Congratulations Aaron. Will always be one of my favourite footballers, and a true Arsenal legend. FA Cup hero and, in my eyes, the owner of the greatest volley in football history: https://youtu.be/vRHeXQyCPiI?si=iDy1LqE1dq_enIeL
Genuinely an Arsenal legend. Turned down SAF when it felt inevitable he’d become a United player, scored two FA Cup final winners (one to end a 9-year trophy drought and one to beat Chelsea), scored against Spurs when they were at Wembley and said “this is my house”. Can’t ask for much more.

One of our best players from the Emirates Era, and a club legend. A well-deserved retirement.

Those two FA Cup winning goals and the 2013-2014 season in general made him one of my favourite players. Enjoy your retirement, legend!

I witnessed his rise and fall throughout the years. It was amazing to watch him developing from potential talent into a top level player.

A highly frustrating player at times, but he still holds a very special place for that 2013/14 season alone. It was the very essence of Ramsey. Absolutely brilliant in the first months of the season with eight goals in the league, then injured between late December and early April, only to return with a couple of goals in the league and the winner in the FA Cup final to give us the first trophy in a decade.
Wenger had a hard time figuring out what to do to fit in Ramsey and get the best out of him, but it all worked in that particular season.

Closest player we’ve had to a legend in the Emirates Era

What a player! 13-14 was an incredible season from him after suffering with form. I remember him taking a lot of stick from fans and how he turned it around. Requires so much mental discipline and belief.
Seems like a great guy too from how he conducts himself.
I’m not sure if we will hear much from him again as he seems pretty reserved but all the best Rambo ❤️ thank you for making so many of us happy.

If there’s anyone worthy of being called an Arsenal legend despite never winning the PL, it’s Aaron Ramsey.
He’s a smart guy and an ex captain, so will probably end up back at Cardiff in some coaching capacity, but I’d love him back, just to teach these lads about big match mentality.
