reading the pre-match thread yesterday made me see how bad our injuries actually are. If we lose the PL, people will moan about being bottlers, but 115 bought Semen-yo and Guehi in January and now they’re on top form
Somehow the daily thread the day after losing 2-3 to Villarreal in preseason was more toxic

Just want to see us play with some belief again. Sporting are full of confidence at the moment. There’s no reason why we shouldn’t act like the top team we are if some of our key players are back in.
I’m not looking forward to any game. It feels like the end of a cycle, like we win games in spite of how terrible we are, instead of wining because of how good we are.
Sporting will be a struggle. Bournemouth at home will be another struggle. I don’t think there’s a di for Arsenal fan who is he looking forward to those games, and it’s a strange thing to say considering where we actually are – but then again, that tells the story of this team , doesn’t it.
Sporting has been really dominant at home this season, it will be a tough test. We have to be close to our best here. I’m slightly concerned but very hopeful.
