      I know nothing about baseball but I don’t think fsg are to blame for this shitshow of a season. They’ve backed the manager like never before and rely on the football people to be making the right decisions

      Will always be a problem with sports investment. You can spend all the money and ‘do all the correct things’, and it can still go badly wrong. And like any sport, you look forward to the next season when everything will be great (surely) 🙂

      I was FSG out previously…

      But seeing how bad Chelsea, Man U and Spurs are handled by their owners, and never ever wanting a city or newscaste situation.

      It is just tough to get owners you like and win things.

      I have no interest in having FSG sell the team tbh. They’re not perfect but it screams “be careful what you wish for” to me. Overall the club is in such a better place than it was when they got here, and in general I have faith that they will keep us on the right path. I don’t want this club to be used for sportswashing or anything like that, and the idea of a benevolent owner who will get every decision right and do everything for the good of the club is a complete pipe dream to me. I’ve been Slot out since PSV, but am I really going to protest ownership for giving a second year coach a long leash when he won the league in his first year and then one of his players died? No, I’m not. I’ll eat crow if I’m wrong, but I do not at all believe Slot will be on the touchline to start next season. I expect them to acknowledge what’s not working and change course, as they have after previous seasons went to shit. I reckon we’ll probably still fuck up every once in a while and have a season that goes tits up, but we could have it so, so much worse.

      I’m disappointed with this season as much as anyone, but let’s reel it in shall we? There are problems with FSG as no owner is perfect but I’d take them over most of the others in the league.
