It should be remembered that Phil started this season really well. We shouldn't speculate on personal stuff because that would be guessing. He's 26 at the end of may, that's too young to be written off. Possibly he feels under pressure with a World Cup looming ?
A rest this summer might do him a power of good rather than being a negative.

Foden's going nowhere. More clueless pundits talking like it's conkers. Did Ronnie O'Sullivan win the world title every year? No. Still the GOAT. Did Tiger Woods win every year? No. Still the GOAT. Did the same Williams sister win every tennis title? Boris Becker? No. The list is endless. They don't get written off because they haven't won that year. They are what they are.

This is idiotic. Foden has never been a maverick. He’s always been a system player. Peps changed his system, now there’s no place for him. Case closed.

About three years ago I said Phil Foden is the next Dele Alli. I was mocked. Now I'd like those same people to grovel Infront of me at your master.

Foden wasn't even that good when he won player of the season. In fact I don't know how he pulled that off because his overall performances wernt anything special and his stats wernt exactly record breaking either. It was very weird that he won that. He has always been a bit overrated.
Trouble with Phil Foden is, he wants to be a number 10.
He seems to think he is the natural successor to Kevin De Bruyne. Trouble is he doesn't score enough goals or create enough chances to be classed in that legends shadow.
Foden's touch and pace have all dropped off.
He rarely plays well when in the starting team.
He needs to go abroad. Either Germany or a lesser Spanish club, where he plays all the time.
