Neither is this the table for 2026, nor is Kovac more successful than Tuchel (2.02 vs 2.12) nor does it make sense to compare Kovac taking over the second richest club in Germany to Klopp taking over from Doll.

Not to take anything away from Kovac, who deserves respect, but you really have to make an effort to get so many things wrong in 22 words..

Honestly I’m over hearing that everywhere. Like yes as a fan would I like more attractive football? Of course I do but personally I don’t blame that on Kovac.

I just do not think the squad we have right now is able to make these combinations in game that Kovac wants. You can see in so many games how he wants the team to attack but they botch up the pass, or the dribble or the first touch.

That’s not on him, what is on him is the solidity he’s brought, the mentality he’s brought, the fitness I mean we run more than any team in the league where as years before we go out ran constantly.

Do I think it’s perfect and can’t be improved? Absolutely not, and I also do think there’s been moments where the squad selection or subs haven’t always been spot on.

But I believe if you give him the right group of players this summer we’ll be able to create something so much more next season.
