  1. He played LW against Newcastle aswell and was instrumental in the build up on the left that lead to both goals. This is something new this season, I'm pretty sure I didn't see him play there last season.. this is a new in game tactical approach by Arteta this season 👏 🙌

  2. This is the next evolution of Arteta tactics. And Saka can do it. Interchange/switching could really help Arsenal and I don’t know why Mikel never did it sooner, considering he likes buying players that can play more than one position.

  3. I do believe this is just rotation of players on the pitch. It makes it very difficult for opponent's to defend using this tactic. Dom L foot striker should play RW. It opens the goal up for that foot. If ur a LB u want ur Dom foot on the touch line. Puts u between the opponent and the ball. As u spirt down the touch line. If that makes sense.

  4. He did this before in 2022/2023 season. Switches up play and confuses defenders against low block teams. I am glad to see it being employed again COYG

  5. You can play equally good left or right footed players on either wing, but the way they play is completely different.
Playing them in their natural positions strengthens their weak foot for shooting making them more unpredictable and makes their crossing much more accurate, but in order to do both of those things they need a top striker carrying defenders to open spaces and on the end of those crosses.
Playing them inverted makes their strong foot much more dangerous, they don’t need a striker since they will be the ones striking most of the time, but they’re more predictable and easier to block.

  6. I told this somewhere before, move saka to left and play madueke right (back then when he's not injured) but then got some bitter fans got mad at me and saying im talking nonsense. Saka's first position was left back, what make ppl think he couldnt play left wing??

  7. The most interesting thing for me is how good Arsenal would be when havertz comes back from injury. Arsenal would go on a winning streak. Can't wait!!!! Victor gyokeres will get better by it. Eze role will be affected also

  8. As usual another ‘expert’ giving an opinion on the professional game and on one of the best attacking players in the world. Please do not talk tosh stick to supporting and representing the club in the best possible light otherwise you will gain a reputation like Rooney’s, Neville, Spitty, etc. 😊

  9. Hey yo @Woklz football bro, We have been saying the same thing, when most wingers in the world have been swopping wings during games frequently why didn't Saka and Martinelli do the same coz they look comfortable on their playing foot wing position, this would also lead to confusing defenders and avoiding lowblock pressings. Those were the little details that cost us the previous titles and the UCL last season, but not signing Yildiz in the January window will be the reason we won't win anything again

  10. It’s better in my opinion, to have wingers play on their strong foot on their side, because it makes me very unpredictable and causes questions and problems to the opposition, so having saka playing left wing or eze playing on the right knee is a good idea

  11. I would dread having to defend against a Saka Eze Madueke trio, add Calafiori into the mix with him randomly popping out of nowhere on the right wing, it would be pure chaos. Love it
