  1. Tell that to Mbappe when we try to cross the ball … oh wait we have no one in the box lol. Jude and GG are our only arial threats that aren’t our defenders.

The way to beat a low block is simple, just keep mbappe on the bench and we will win

Our wingers like to dribble into the low block head on and our midfielders like to attack through the middle. They do what they like to do, instead of what is needed. Overlaps are completely ignored. No movement inside the box.

All relatively weaker teams play low blocks. An amateur coach looking at the pace that Real Madrid has would deploy a low block instinctively to maximise the team’s survival. However it’s not some godlike FM tactic which is impossible to beat, unless you play into their hands by refusing to adjust your tactics. Otherwise, the top teams would all be knocked out of cups and UCL consistently by weaker teams.

Low blocks have been deployed against us for ages, and in the past decade we cut through them with ease. We will still get caught out from time to time and let in a goal or two, but the response would always be overwhelming.
