  1. He's one of the top 5 passers of the ball in world football. He's won every trophy available at club level at his age – that doesn't happen if you're a bad defender. 16 of the 35 man squad have never won a single major trophy. I hope TAA wins everything at Real this season

  2. The Kdb comparison is mad. I understand Trent’s quality and surprised neither England manager showed him love. But equally, being 1-0 and an mbappe or someone of that quality is running at Trent, you’d be concerned about going 2 or 3 down πŸ˜‚ so yes, he’s quality going forward, but lacks the defensive ability you might need/want in tournament football

    Edit: that being said, he should definitely make the squad to bring something different. Maybe not start in huge games tho
