Don't let vini cultists deceive you. I've always said that players should have no authority over a team it should be the coach. Take Barca for example, Hansi dgaf if he benches Lamine or Raphina for being late cause he knows they got no shit on him.

We were 7 points ahead with consistent winning streaks let's not forget.

Xabi wasn't sacked he left the club on mutual agreement and I suspect why,He complained that the players had too much autonomy. He clearly saw that he couldn't continue if he couldn't tell boys what to do.

I always say this and it's probably the same for arbeloa as well, the manager isn't the problem it's the boys ego and their unwillingness to listen to the tactics of the manager.

Arbeloa for instance gives the boys autonomy because he wants to be on their good side if not management would let him off. I'm sure he'd love them pressing all the time.

The boys want to play on their own terms just like how they did with ancelotti but it clearly isn't working. I hate Barca with all my heart but I got to give it to them they play well coordinated football and it's not any coincidence it's just them listening to hansi and following his tactics cause evidently they never played like this under Xavi Hernandez

Yep! This moment turned our season sour. Don’t let the fanboys blind you. Yes we are not a balanced squad but we were top of the table and top 8 in UCL before this tantrum. It’s ok though the players have all the power and they get donuts so they are happy with losing

  2. Various_Face9060 on

Hopefully this post gets removed. We literally were top of the league after that and with Arbeloa too but Mbappe missed a big chance against Osasuna

  3. oh so now we’re back to blaming Vinicius? we loved him before the international break 😂

  4. Very true, everything went to shit after this game, they were winning games with Alonso’s tactics, the team was getting their rhythm finally, easily could have ended the game 5-1 that day. I love vini and everything he does for the club but since this game everything fell apart for the teams

  5. yea vini had a superb performance vs barca in a singular match and didn’t want to leave the pitch, threw a tantrum and led to rm somehow being unable to string results in la liga, under 2 managers? OP give us a break bro

  6. Pretending Xabi Alonso had zero blame is just untrue.

He created a system what limited him to cater Mbappe. He would always sub off Vini regardless if he played well but would never dare sub off Mbappe. He benched Vinicius one game to play Fran Garcia left wing.

I think Xabi Alonso is still a good manager but the guy clearly provoked Vini many times which led to this.

Burn this fanbase to the ground at this point. How does one get to this conclusion? We lose games with and without him, in the same way we lose games with and without Mbappe. On top of that, Xabi was just not the manager for the job.

losing stupid games is what cost us the league, not this bullshit.

After this we started getting tougher games, militao got injured and it all fell apart. Blaming vini for us losing the league is very stupid considering the loses we have taken

Honestly, this is one of the most ridiculous takes I’ve seen here. The weird obsession with hating Vini Jr is just pathetic.

  10. The best performance with Xabi so far and Vinicius does that shit, those players need discipline, but Florentino spoils them and they are the real bosses now

  11. Mbappe has been the problem for 2 seasons bro. Vini and Rodrygo have already shown they could take of Barca. One lazy forward hasn’t.

  12. Tricky-Letterhead888 on

Some of these comments are just cracking me up🤣 lmao, I’m not a vini hater but I never saw on the Reddit claiming vini wa the problem when he couldn’t register a goal for about 4 months. Instead they blamed it on Xabi lmao🤣🤣🤣. Mbappe has been shite why aren’t we blaming arbeloa🤣🤣

  13. So many Madrid fans are vini haters even in 2023-2024 many fans were hating him, yes he isn’t good the last 2 season, yes he makes unnecessary things in matches but saying he is the main problem is just prove you are a hater, xabi had many other problems, this mangers have glazers not because he was good but because he was benching vini. Under xabi we failed in all big games, we didn’t have a chance against Liverpool, juve were beating us. What vini has done in this match is wrong but it’s not why we are like that.

I agree this behaviour is unacceptable and he should have been penalized for that. However, we still had plenty of chances to comeback (heck, we still do).

But let’s not try a different scapegoat every week. The last 2 season reek of bad management from board all the way through.

We’ve got players getting injured left and right – the board does not bring any backups. So the other players have to overdo and end up getting injured as well. Do we not remember Fede was playing RB because we had no options left?

We’ve got lazy and complacent players? You can say so.
Whose job it is to deal with that? The coach, right? But how can someone do that if the board does not back them up?

  15. ARandomDudeSlav on

How can the best football team of all time even allow such childish behavior to go unpunished? That immature child took it upon himself to shit upon every authority in this team, and we just allow it. After another trophyless season once again, we will even reward him with the biggest contract in team history. Embarassing what we have allowed Real Madrid to become.

And there are still “fans” praising this spoiled brat. Can’t wait for a day this summer when he becomes a resident of Arabian peninsula.

  17. Wow there are still some Xabi widows crying for him, that’s some dedication!

    Awful take as always lmao.

  18. fucking clowns went quiet once Madrid started winning then come out of their caves again

  19. Basic-Piccolo-6356 on

Is funny how quick people are forgetting this after a couple of good perfomances. Vini is a diva

  20. Mbappe and Vini hate all in the same day instead of taking turns.

    This fanbase is thriving.

  21. Tricky-Letterhead888 on

I watch our games and sometimes we make low tier teams look like prime Manchester City🤣. We can barely win back possessions lmao. Our defence is butt and has no shape.

  22. just fck off bruhhhh, I ain’t one of them who turn their back on players once a minor inconvenience happens but it just can’t be a coincidence if it happens again and again and again…. Everytime Mbappe is out, we start to look more coherent and start winning and the moment he’s back things start going south….. and after every stinker Mbappe drops….THIS FKIN VIDEO POPPS OUT!!!!!! Mind You Vini was our best player in the First Clasico we played and won till he was on the pitch

  23. This is the exact moment. I’ve stopped backing Vini a while ago, but nothing he can do now will ever make me want him in the team.

I don’t care if he scored in 2 UCL finals. He’s been average for us over the last 7 seasons altogether. Fucking sick of this dramatic diva. Great 1 in 7 games, whiny in all of them.

  24. Tricky-Letterhead888 on

A clear example of Arbeloa not having authority is today’s after interview where he blamed himself for the poor performance of the players 🤣🤦🏾‍♂️. He literally said the players didn’t do what they practiced during the week and yet he’s blaming himself🤣🤣. He doesn’t want to lose his job i guess🤣🤣

  25. When dictstor doesn’t play and team looks great, arbeloa ball
When dictator plays and team shits badly against relegation battling team, VINI FOUGHT AGAINST XABI! WE ARE LOSING DUE TO THIS SINGLE MOMENT IN THE ENTIRETY OF THE SEASON!! MBAPPE DA BEST!!! HE GOT PICHICHI!!! HE WILL GET PICHICHI!!!! ALL HAIL FUHRER MBAPPE!!!!
