We should have made these signings after 24 instead of signing Mbappe and then we might have had a real chance to repeat

  2. IcyTable6584 on

    Huijsen 7/10
    Carreras 8/10
    Trent 5/10 (injured)
    Franco (2/10)

Mind you this is just for the season so far and not a reflection of the long term outlook

  3. More-Temperature7242 on

huijsen a solid 6/10 because his performances earlier this season was shaky af, but he turned it up a notch later, trent 6/10 he can cause serious damage and is very fucking potent in the attack but yeah the injuries are not so good. …………..mastantuono 4/10 50 mil… seriously ? isnt that kind of,,insane ? i dont even know what his main attribute is, is it shooting ? is it passing? is it dribbling ? is it positioning ? is it free-kicks ? i seriously think calafat just saw that one free kick of his and decided to buy him and that 50 mil was wayyy too much, some psg inside job maybe.

    Trent – Shit

    Alvoro – Less shit

    Dean – Very shit

    Franco – Extremely shit

  5. We know Trent is a very good player. But if he can’t stay fit for the majority of a season, he can’t get into any rhythm and he won’t get to have good games, just some good moments.

Carreras has been better than I expected. Under a good manager he can improve in the areas he is lacking and can be a good left back in the future.

Same for Huijsen. He’s still very young, he has to improve physically a lot and command the backline better. He can be good, but can feel out of place sometimes. It’s only natural at his age. Is he as good as Ramos at the same age? He is not, he especially lacks in attitude, but than can develop over time.

Franco may be a miss. He has not really adapted, Endrick seemed to be more on it than him yet he’s the one that got moved. Maybe that’s what Franco needs as well, more minutes to develop and adapt to the European game. But he feels like the only missed transfer for me.

  6. Trent 7/10
    Carreras 8/10
    Huijsen 5/10
    Masta 3/10

Without Fede it‘s even more of a mess…
And our offense doesn‘t work well together.

  7. trent 8/10 only when fede is playing with him, otherwise 6/10

    carreras 8/10 he legit

    huijsen 5/10 very underwhelming

    franco 3/10 just ass

    Carreras 8.5/10
Trent: 6.5/10 (Only because he was cheap)
Dean Huijsen: Promising, but so far 6.5/10
Mastantuono: 1/10 (Cost so much money that should’ve been spent on someone else, and led to Alonso side-lining better players).

  9. I will admit is been a rollecoasted for all of them, well minus Franco…
Huisen is good but it has ups and downs when it comes to making silly fouls
Trent is great offensively but defensively is horrible
Carreras is out of the 4 that made better impact, it just these games lately have been bad (although I can have an idea why…)

So I will say in this order of who did it better
Carreras, Trent, Huisen and Franco… Franco should go lower

  10. Franco has the potential to go down as the most devastating transfer for Perez legacy. Not due to his qualities or lack thereof, rather because the tactic of hoarding talent shows that it’s unsustainable. A squad averaging a torn ACL per player in the backline and the board drops 60-70m on a 17y/o after a trophyless season.

  11. Trent 4/10
    Huijsen 3/10
    Carreras 6/10
    Mastantuono 1/10

Also with their prices in mind

  12. Beneficial_Bed_337 on

Trent – excellent paser, nothing else, can contribute to build up and offensive.

Carreras – decent, a bit of dissapointment to be honest.

Huijsen – The best one. Great at passing and a great duo with Rudiger. Needs to still development himself a lot, but highest potential.

Mastantuono – his attitude is not at the same leverl as his football skills, which is a bit of a shame. Loan him out.

  13. MoreanSwordsman on

Alvaro: 7/10 – He still needs to develop.

Dean: 5/10 – He still needs to develop and he almost only plays good when he is paired with an experienced CB.

Trent: 2/10 – A big disappointment, but this was expected to some of us. We needed a more solid defence, but we got Trent, who is injury prone and a horrible defender. His only ability are crosses from the right side of the field with his right foot.

Franco: X/10 – It wouldn’t be fair to give him a bad rating, because this guy is still too raw and too inexperienced. He is not ready and has to be sent to Castilla or to a low-tier team for further development.

  14. Sea_Perspective2016 on

Arnold: 9/10 he didn’t play enough minutes this season but he’s the best rb in the world when fit and we got him for free.

Alvaro: 8/10 most impactful signing and the MVP of the first half of the season

Hujsen: 7/10 could be more tbh but he hasn’t reached his full potential yet.

Franco: 2/10 i don’t know why did we sign him valero minuz yanez and Palacios are better than him.

  15. Arnold. I like him but he’s been a 3/10. Genuinely very poor. We always play a man down with him in defence, but there’s not even enough flashes of brilliance to make up for it. Add injuries and inconsistency to that.

Huijsen. 4/10. I don’t think he should be a starter at RM. We can talk about his “passing”, but his actual defending is what you’d expect from any average T5 league CB.

?Carreras: 5/10. Has had very good games and in general looks very solid on the ball. He’s a decent passer and ball carrier and in 1v1s. The problem is his attacking and defensive positioning negate his benefits, even though these things are less obvious to see. He’s not very tactically sound.

Mastantuono: 2/10 for obvious reasons. Not his fault. We should never have signed him to a team that already has Brahim Diaz, Rodrygo, Endrick, GG, Mbappe, Vini(Guler? Bellingham?) in forward spots and arguably still needs a CF signing

  16. Trent: 6/10. Not bad but not great either. He doing as expected but could have done better

Carreras: 9/10. Solid attacking/defending balanced LB. Is 21-22 and has lots of room for improvement. Potentially be our main LB for the next decade

Dean Huijsen: 8/10. Another great choice. Modern calm Ball playing tall LCB. Is 20-21 and can improve a lot to a very solid world class CB. Most of his performances were already very good against big sides. We might need Schlotterbeck to start from next season and give Huijsen breathing room to improve tho and not start him for 50+ matches at top level

Franco: 2/10. Honestly we didn’t need him at all. And his output is extremely poor. Maybe he’s raw and has potential but his best position is already occupied by young good players (Jude/Arda). Better loan him and then sell if things doesn’t get better

  17. Electronic_Lie79 on

Overall poor. We lost Kross, Nacho, Modric. We had Militão injured, Carvajal, Alaba, and so many others and that’s what we got? Mastantuano wasnt worth it and despite Huijsen and Carreras doing well, we should’ve gotten more and better players.

  18. Trent 7/10 with Fed without Fed 5/10 example today hardly got into the game at all. No cover for him and didnt really seem interested in getting passes until after half time. He had a crap game but still got an assist. Also was very cheap.

Carreras 7.5/10 this lad good..works hard but a bit more learning to go as a LB but great future

Huijsen 5,.5/10 lot of learning to do…not sure if hes good enough. Sometimes reads the game well and passing but his defending qualities hrmm was at fault for at least 1 of the goals today.

Franco 3/10 does nothing loan him.

Fed makes everyone better though…big miss today.

  19. Trent: his performance is all over the place from good to very bad

    Carreras: good balanced player

Huijsen: decent need a lot of improvement to be real madrid level

Franco: need to be sold next season i see no real talent in him

  20. Awful

The “best” is carreras but even he is indisciplined and untrustowrthy in big games. 160m or do down the drain
