  1. I need United to be shit again as soon as Fernandes leaves, that number pisses me off just as much as Chelseas and Liverpools

  2. So Forest fans took it literally when people said our game was winner stays up. They still have a chance at going down.

To be fair to Forest fans, they’ve just seen firsthand how shit we are. I’d feel confident too.

  4. Honestly this tracks with all the Chelsea fans I know. They’re all depressed and moaning and talking about who needs to get sacked and like – you’re sixth! You know what I’d give for sixth right now?

  5. Having seen Chelsea at the bottom, I just remembered my dream from last night where we played them, won 8:0 and they had 7 red cards.

Chelsea will be in a relegation scrap within the next few seasons when Todd gets bored of his new toy (if he’s not already)

Odd to see Chelsea fans more pessimistic than Spurs fans about the rest of the season, according to this poll anyway.

This makes the May 17 game at Stamford. Bridge ever more instructive than I t already was — which is doubly odd because Spurs’ recent record against Chelsea has been more Championship material than championship worthy.

Perhaps the “De Zerbi factor” will play a role this time. Those with long memories may remember April 1, 2018, the last time Spurs beat Chelsea at Stamford Bridge. As I recall — my memory is not what it used to be — that one ended 3-1, thanks to a brace from Delle Ali and a single by Christian Eriksen.

It was Spurs’ first league win at Stamford Bridge since 1990, and ended a 27-game winless run there. One can but hope.

Then again, as we all know — and not just the geezers among us — it’s the hope that kills you.
