    Bastoni to Barca almost a done deal. What are your thoughts?


    As per MatteMoretto🥇, Bastoni has agreed to sign for Barcelona. The deal could be possible for around €60m + add ons if the Italian wishes to leave.

      It would be a good deal for 60, I think people calling him an Araujo 2.0 is very reactionary, It was his first career red and it’s not exactly only him to blame in that situation.

      Imo He could genuinely elevate us to a whole other level when in possession by how good he is on the ball, Wouldn’t struggle as much when facing a m2m press or a high pressing system.

      Aslong as he’s able to execute offside traps a bit like inigo did I personally think he’d do extremely well.

      Ability wise fantastic. Really big fan of him. But he needs to clean up his game, we’ll be reliant on him and he tens to do silly things in the heat of the moment.

      Im excited but also a bit concerned cause im not sure if he has played in a back 4 before , as far as my memory goes it only back 3 and also he’s almost always played with a low line and not one like barcas so I wonder how well and how long he takes to adapt.

      Not an “almost done” deal until he actually wears the shirt on presentation day. All these years of public embarassments by the club in the transfer market and yet fans will never learn.

      First of all, it isn’t done. Negotiations with inter hasn’t even begun

      But for the sporting side, he is one of the best ball playing CBs. So Flick and our players will love playing with him

      Im 100% this will be another Saga , that will go for months and then Bastoni renews his contract with inter till 2040 or signs for PSG as usual. Barca sporting direction are very bad at making deals they always expose everything to media

      Let’s not be blinded by his recent performances he would be good for us. This is the player profile Coach Flick wants, bastoni and cubarsi will work in my opinion I dont know if ill be wrong if I expect him to bring in that aggressiveness that inigo Martinez had when he played for us

      Bastoni have only been good in a 3 at the back system. If Barca doesn’t play it then he might struggle because his defensive awareness isn’t that good
