The players Played with efficiency but at the same time they understood spaces more than any barcelona I have seen. Yes there is MSN era and also pep dominance but they heavily relied on individual players. This Barca plays with a very sound mind and freedom of creating and exploiting space no matter who is playing. Flick just show us how modern football evolve as the other Spanish team also will evolve in the next 4 years. Yes it will take time but as football fans this evolution will make football more fun and entertaining again.

Barcelona's issue has been their quality in defense. The average age of their backline is less than 22 which is insane for a top team. Their RB is a converted CB, one of the CBs is a converted LB.
If they had more experienced quality defenders in there, the goals conceded will drop. If only they can manage some signings in the next summer window.

i've been saying this for awhile in the last year, you've seen a barca wake up from a point of who they are in their dna. and exactly what hansi has done is cut straight to barca dna, while its going on under the radar everyone is talking about who is the best in this era, especially madridstas. what they all fail to realize is the fact we are not in a ego era anymore, that is over. you have a ego, he can be closed down pretty quick. We are entering a Barca more dominating than 08/09. and we have the best president for it and the best coach for it, which have made it possible to use all of barca dna with hansi way of getting the sixtrible with bayern. what's gonna happened is the fact, barca gonna dominate very soon. what people didnt see in the era of us not winning is how much was being tested, barca just keeps on improving and everyone else is still stuck in the era of ego and who is best and who is the most expensive, barca have understood that aswell. but also believe thats why we see more english clubs flourish now, the usual top leagues having trouble because they live in ego and the others dont, also its been made that we cant have egos anymore actually. the rules of the game have changed to team playing and system, if clubs like real madrid dont understand that and dont follow the new era, we will possibily see a real madrid suffer in all competitions, because they have always been a club of money and ego. they cant have a team full of egos to gazillions of euros. they have to devolp a team now, but they are currently in denial and delulu to that fact they will either adapt or that club will suffer very much.
