      Tell them that we’ll have a Manchester United former players panel review the incident and ultimately rule 2-1 that Harry Maguire didn’t do anything wrong.

      That should settle it.

      What a fucking whopper Attwell is. This is obviously from his match report, where he’s made a tit of himself, cowered from making a call he knew he should make, and then sent a player off and then tattled to the FA that Harry was mean. Wanker.

      I wish they’d be less vague, because this could mean anything. It’s impossible to form an opinion without knowing what he said.

      Visually, he clearly didn’t go overboard in general conduct, so it has to be something he said.

      So that particular referee is never reffing a game for us again, I take it, if this is their stance… how do you expect a referee to manage a game when all our players hate his guts, or our players to be fine with a litigating cunt like this coming to ruin another game? Even if the referee is 100% fair, just the existence of this baggage has to make it too stacked a deck to be fair. Will our guys have to step on eggshells around him in every game he referees for us now, in case he writes a mean match report and tries to get them in trouble with the FA?

      If referees in the Premier league can’t take a few hurty words they should probably get another job. Honestly a lot of them come across as the kind of people that would volunteer to be hall monitors or fail to be coppers. Traffic wardens with less exercise involved.
