Haven’t heard about Oxford in ages. I remember he was one of those we were linked with in the early Klopp days. Joe was highly rated injuries and all crazy to think he was only 22-23 when we went CL-PL in b2b seasons

7 out of 11 made it at the top level, that’s actually a rarity when you look at these lists from the past

He definitely was one of the best prospects in England, looked very solid playing left back in 2015 under Rodgers. Hes been here for an eternity and he still isnt 30 yet. Incredible player, a key rotational player for any aspiring title contender. But in between these two positions he was in, he was a genuinely world class center back alongside Van dijk in 19/20 even forcing Mighty Matip onto the bench. Injuries have hampered him, much like Sturridge, but I feel lately hes gotten more adaptive to injury setbacks, as it doesn’t really affect his performances of late. Hes a legend in my eyes idc what anyone says 😅

Surprised you had to google Reece Oxford, he was hugely hyped. IIRC he was 16 and MOTM against Arsenal for West Ham?
Think his career just never kicked off though, remember he went to Germany and never really heard of the lad since sadly

I’m still holding out for that first goal. I just know it’ll happen

And he is a double EPL and once European Champion. All achieved with his invaluable contribution. I would say, he had a great career.
Odeegard, on the other hand … I remember when EVERY top team in Europe was courting him. He is won jackshit.

Fuck injuries. He could genuinely have been as good as Virgil if it wasn’t for the injuries

tbf this is a pretty solid squad. Usually it isn’t that many that make it to the level these players have. 3 arguably world class players and all in all 10 players who have been routine starters at fairly big clubs.

Weren’t we relentlessly linked with Renato Sanchez?

Joe Gomez is a brilliant footballer. Can play any position on the backline to a high level. Even if he hadn’t played in awhile he can slot right back in.

9 out 11 became pretty solid with Gigi and Odegaard being world class, I didn’t even have that rate in FM years . I wonder what other years look like in regard of promising youngsters
