They’re literally just angry people coping, any player in Bastoni’s position was getting a red card
No matter what you say, Bastoni will be enemy #1 for the remainder of his time as an Italy international. The damage he did to himself tonight can’t be put into words. I think this will be the final straw in him forcing a move to Spain.
You know what they had in common with the players that failed to qualify in 2022 and now in 2026?
They’re all Italians. Regardless of who it was, the fact is we are horrible. Club level and international level.

Italy has so many excellent coaches, and they chose to go with Gatusso who never won anything. Is not about Bastoni, Italy was dominated by Bosnia before he was sent off. Probably worst generation in history both on the bench and on the field.
I see the same issues I see with our club, tactics: you can’t reinvent the wheel. 3-5-2 needs wing backs, not Politano and Di Marco starting together, heck at least one real wb, imagine having started with Palestra and Spinazzola from the start, they were bullying us on the flanks all the first half! And no one was attacking the second post on offensive crosses (while being also useless defensively in the same position). To this add Bastoni out of position.
Italy loses the qualifier with Inter players, but they don’t even make it to the knockouts without them. That being said, Basto‘s mistake is unforgettable and likely unforgivable. I see zero chance he stays in Italy for the remainder of his career. He probably can’t even go out in public until the WC is over.

.Ce soir je pleure. Beaucoup d’équipe nationale s’appuie sur la base de joueurs du meme club (milan 2006, juve 1982, Barca 2010,Bayern 2014 etc… quand ça gagne tant mieux mais quand tu perds….c’est que le problème est ailleurs.
Il n’y a pas de joueurs italiens dans les clubs italiens c’est tout. Aucun attaquant de niveau international, ni de milieu, ni de défenseur. Il y a Donnaruma c’est tout.
Il y a des bons joueurs comme Barellla, Tonali, Locatelli. Bientôt Esposito sera le nouvel furioclasr italien enfin j’espère.
Faut laisser jouer les jeunes italiens en série a et arrêter tous ces transferts. Come joue bien mais sans un seul italien. Come dehors!! Tu n’aides pas le caclcio. Fais le meme jeu avec des italiens si tu veux .
