Young me would never have believed it at least. Italy were the big villains who were always there, and never exciting anyone with their play. In a sense they have been replaced with France in the XXIst century.

Bosnia dominated most of the match but the Bosnia goal was a easy foul by Dzeko, and that foul at the end should have 100% been a red same as Bastoni’s.
Reasonably Italy should never have put themselves in a position like that in the first place. At the level they are, they need to be better.
