  1. 5 years is just utterly bonkers from this current position we’re in as a club. there will be a break clause but even still

Obviously we hold none of the cards but we’ve been absolutely bent over here

Awful appointment, never been in a relegation battle, won a proper trophy or got promoted. He is a mid table manager and an abhorrent human being.

Thinking about would you sell the soul of the club for trophies conversations. We’ve managed to sell our soul for relegation instead. We are truly a lost club.

  4. Fuck this shit. Turning my time and money to lower leagues. At least Orient will make me feel like I’m watching spurs so the transition won’t be painful

Really impressed with this season how you think we’ve hit rock bottom and it can’t get more bleak, they always prove you wrong.

  6. I think he’s the best option of those who were available to come in now. Expect us to have half a chance of staying up now.

5 year deal is laughable though. Incredibly unlikely he even makes it halfway through that. Hopefully though he’ll at least put us back on the path of playing good attacking football before he inevitably loses the plot.

that’s me done. SA survivor. not supporting this club in any capacity until everyone involved in this is gone.

  8. Does this guy get to walk away when the team is relegated? Imagine if this clown show board and ownership just invested in a proper operation instead of whatever the fuck they’ve been doing for the last 7 years

This is my one and only club

Nobody is bigger than the badge, not this rape apologist, not the scum on the board, and not the players thinking about their summer move

    COYS no matter what

  10. He needs to immediately address his defense of Greenwood and take accountability. If he does that, then maybe I can start to back him. But if he doubles down, then I can’t bring myself to support this appointment.

Each to their own conscience etc but important to remember that Spurs are our club. Not his. And I have no intention of fucking off because we’ve got a shitty character in the dugout. We’ll still be here when it inevitably goes to shit.

  12. I think we have inverse energy. Managers we were happy and optimistic about flopped. Maybe this one will succeed?

If you want to put a positive spin, give the situation managing to get one of the top name managers available is an achievement… doesn’t mean he will be successful. But hope he is.

  14. Let’s hope he’s finally the right manager to get the most out of the lads and keep the club up. COYS!

Excuse me for being a newer fan of European soccer. Why is he such a divisive person here?
