  1. Well this is kind of jumping to a conclusion from a non-answer the CEO gave, what it sounds like to me is basically the jury is out after the CL exit and the loss to Sunderland since we have still a chance to get Europe next season but we would need a run to do it so my guess if he actually does well towards the end then he is safe but if the slide continues we will look elsewhere. To me as a Newcastle fan from the before times I’m fine with him staying but I kind of feel like after 5 years you’d expect to start progressing and it feels like we are at a crossroads right now for Howe and the club where either he and the club come up with some ideas or he might be looking at us building a statue of him outside of the ground after leaving.

  2. I’m not a Newcastle fan but getting rid of him would be pointless.

Genuinely, who could they hire who could do a better job from who’s around at the moment? There’s no one I think who’s better than could improve on where they are.

I think he has taken Newcastle as far as he can so.
Saying that I couldn’t name a better replacement.
    Strange situation at Newcastle

  4. My guess he’ll be gone with no European football on the cards for next season, Nagelsmann, Glasner, Valverde and many more are out of contract in the summer so Newcastle might decide it’s time for a change

  5. The bbc report in this same discussion, but their headline is “Newcastle not looking to make Howe change at the moment”.

For all we know Howe is looking to get out, go to a club that can compete financially and have stability in senior positions.

ESPN is the equivalent to any common rag, I wouldn’t be paying a lick of attention to their nonsense.
