“**When mediocrity has been set as standard, rubbish is acceptable, acceptable becomes extraordinary”. F*CK LEVY**

  2. The revisionism here is crazy. Vinai and Lange have done an extraordinary amount of damage, but Levy was the one who rotted the foundations of the club by not investing in the playing staff. We are still very much in the era that is directly influenced by Levy’s decisions as Chairman.

Levy stood in the way of progress – we are where we are because of his poor decisions and ENICs even worse ones

“I’ve known Vinai for a number of years, without doubt he was the candidate,” chairman Levy said in a new joint-interview with Venkatesham posted on Tottenham’s official YouTube channel and website. “Sometimes when you employ somebody you don’t know if you’re going to get on, but because we’ve known each other that risk wasn’t there.”

    That’s his boy

  5. I was always pro levy. Of course he made mistakes, but he always had the good of the club at heart and fought tooth and nail to get us to the Europa league win.

Maybe we could have won more with someone else in charge, but we would never have been in those positions in the first place without him in charge.

You can have a difference of opinion, but people who are saying fuck Levy are doing him a massive disservice

If you buy a second hand car and the gearbox goes 20 miles down the road, is it because of how you drove it or how the previous owner did?

  7. The man that burned every bridge in football and then when we finally had money and didn’t need to be a ruthless dickhead, he underbid on every player we were interested. He is a huge reason we are here.

Well, the problem with Levy is he was never about building a successful club, he just wanted to build a profitable club.

The success on the field was a part of his plan, but it was never the ultimate goal.

He was successful for ENIC. God knows they’re making a ton of money but when I think of what was squandered under his tenure I’m disgusted. We should have won the Champion’s League multiple times with the amount of lucky strikes this club had. Gareth Bale, the LB who had never won a game. Harry Kane, the man who was sent back after a terrible loan at Millwall. Poch.

Levy had tons of chances to invest in the club and get us over the top but he simply didn’t because his only goal was to generate a ton of profit.

Now we’re going down, and that’s entirely due to ENIC but the reason we never reached the heights we should have was entirely because Levy was ENIC’s pointman. The fact that he was competent enough to cover for them doesn’t excuse the fact that we lost multiple generational opportunities to be dominant because of his actions.

No man in history has squandered so many lucky breaks in the name of pure profit as Daniel Levy.

  9. THIS IS HIM. Jesus christ some of you people… A baby conceived when Levy left would not be born yet. There has not been a full season without him, there has been one single transfer window… AND WE FINISHED 17th LAST SEASON, is that just like not a thing in your little head?? I guess not, and that the few months without him is a more significant influence on the club’s state than the decades he was in charge (including recently enough to have overseen the putting together of almost every employee here right now)

Whilst he likely wouldn’t have hired RDZ, or even had us in quite the same level of danger this season, he isn’t absolvable from the circumstances that led us here.

And I still dont. He started this rot, long ago. So to all of a sudden see him as some missing hero is bizarre. Man was a parasite, slowly killing the club.

People are acting like Levy oversaw a dozen trophies and a golden age. They’re acting like he left the club with us top four and in a great place, but somehow Vinai blew it up in less than a season.

Levy laid the stones of failure. He created the club’s toxic culture, and was the chairman when the term “spursy” was coined.

He missed countless opportunities to really take this club forward. Vinai and Lange are useless, but Levy was the worst chairman in our history and I don’t miss him at all.

  13. I genuinely don’t miss him. I think he is a huge reason why we are where we are. He spent the last 5/6 years of his time at spurs trying to set us up as an entertainment venue and did so at the cost of the football. He isn’t as shit as vinai, and did get some things right, but another reason why we saw such growth as a club under him had a lot to do with pochettino, Kane & Son I believe. Remember everything he did wasnt from his own pocket too. Spurs fan were & continue to be some of the highest paying fans in world football. Im still glad to see him gone, and the fact that it has all come crumbling down without him isnt a testament to how integral he was.. for me it shows how badly he set the club up for future stability.

  14. Turned ÂŁ100m into ÂŁ3B and never made a decision that might threaten a single penny of that ÂŁ3B. We are reaping the results of the seeds he has sown. The face of enick, bloodsucking leeches the lot of them.

  15. He hired Lange and Frank and recommend Vinai as his replacement.

When being shown the players to sign to really elevate us he cheaped out time and time again. Theres too many examples to ignore and defend now.

Its fine to credit Levy whos 99% behind the very limited success the club footballing wise had but, hes also 99% behind the failures of this club and his decisions have led us to where we are right now.

However, he was Spurs man and loved the club thats clear but, Enic who he answered to were not. So currently its FUCK ENIC, FUCK LANGE AND FUCK VINAI.
