      I don't want either of them. Let us back Nico Paz, or Victor Nunez, and give Thiago Pitarch and other young players more minutes. Let us give our La Fabrica more life and minutes thanks Arbeloa.
      If I want to pick any of them without looking at the bad side in each other, or age, I will go with Rodri.

      Better than these 2, we can work with Thiago and Cheema – both can work in deep lying mid fielders

      NEITHER !

      In the previous galactico eras RM used to stack creative midfielders, totally ignoring the workers – defensive midfielders – we all know the famous case of Makelele.

      In recent years RM seems to want to avoid that mistake, so much so that they're going overkill on "workers". Box to box players that are athletic, run a lot, defend well.

      So I say that Madrid don't need any more "destroyers / workhorses" in midfield, because they have that already, in spades. What they need is creative players that can either beat a man (example: Musiala), or make a great through ball (example: Cherki), or organize play (example: Vitinha). You don't get that from players like Camavinga, Tchouameni, Valverde, Rodri, Enzo.

      TL;DR – RM needs midfielders like Wirtz, Vitinha, Pedri, Musiala, Cherki, Olise – players that can CREATE. They have enough "workers".

      What about the ‘none’ option. They’re not bad players, especially Rodri. But they’re not players we need. You could make an argument for Rodri and play him in a double pivot, but that will force us to play a 4-4-2 and will essentially kick out Arda. If we’re forced to sign a MF I’d rather sign someone younger like Wharton.

      They both looking for a super big contract….especially rodri….old af and pushing to get a large contract and bum out like alaba. Dont want any of them especially rodri. He needs to stay clear of madrid.

      Fayzal is absolutely lying to himself about Vini being humble and willing to put his pride to the side for the betterment of the team in regard to Rodri. BE SO FOR REAL, it’s not children watching you dawg.

      I think Szoboszlai would be so good for us. I know it’s unrealistic but keep in Mind We already play so vertical and I understand our midfield is stacked and we need defenders, but I feel like he can be a weird hybrid between vitinha/kroos type player and an advanced playmaker. Ik we got arda but maybe szobo operates as the brain of our midfield so it’s not so much as if he’s playmaking but just distributing the ball like kroos
