I remember when he came back to Milan in 2013 he was incredible. He was also very important for the national team, and looked like he was becoming one of the best in the world.
Then there was the disaster of the 2014 World Cup and that disaster loan to Liverpool and his career completely unravelled.

A player capable of genius, but he probably didn’t care about football that much. If he chose to play and dedicate himself to football, he would have been the best Italian player for the last decade and he would be considered one of the best strikers along with Benzema, Suarez, Kane and Lewandowski.
