If you added Bruno Fernandes into Real Madrid and he sucked the first game after 2 training sessions, you would say well they need to build chemistry. He doesn’t know the system. He needs time.
Now do that for all 11 players. Of course they are going to suck. You are asking these players to play together in a game after 2 training sessions. New formations for many. And when they suck, you get upset?
The team is fine. Fuck.
This is one of the few times in the last 20 years we hadn’t needed a playoff to get to the tournament. They will be good in the tournament. Won’t win but they will do ok. The last game you saw them they played fantastic.
Se for pelo futebol jogado, Horta, Trincão, Paulinho, Gonçalo Guedes, vão ter de lá estar.
Porque principalmente na frente de ataque, vejo muitas “estrelas” que neste momento só o são pelo nome e pouco mais…

The Portuguese and the Spaniards have the best midfields in the world cup. I think portugal will be fine. The only issue I notice is that when ronaldo plays, the players cater too much towards him and it seems as if they do not play as they would naturally. This to me is the biggest worry with portugal.

A única coisa positiva deste jogo é que recuperamos o 5o do ranking da fifa mas só porque o Brasil está fraco. Estamos mais perto de Marrocos do que o 4o lugar. Eu acho que é incrÃvel este trabalho de Roberto MartÃnez, a equipa nunca joga bem, com ou sem Ronaldo

Honestamente não sou fã do careca, nem tenho esperanças por aà a fora para o Mundial, mas a reação do pessoal hoje aqui no sub é muito exagerada, um jogo amigável com muita rotação depois de uma deslocação grande, fora de casa, os jogadores provavelmente com receio de lesões nesta altura da época num jogo sem importância, esta performance é completamente normal.
O pessoal do sub tem expectativas completamente irrealistas por vezes no que toca à seleção, ainda que sim, é verdade que Portugal nas últimas grandes competições ficou aquém, especialmente na qualidade e consistência. Mas se acham que mesmo com um muito bom treinador Ãamos jogar sempre muito bem, esqueçam, aliás nenhuma seleção joga particularmente bem, especialmente comparado com futebol de clubes.
Eu não tenho grande interesse pela seleção desde para aà 2012, mas como é óbvio fico sempre contente quando ganham.
Dito isto, acho que é mais um mundial para passar a fase de grupos sem brilhar, e ir de vela nos oitavos ou quartos de final com um, Equador, Uruguai, Noruega, Bélgica ou Japão.
Tudo seleções bem trabalhadas e organizadas, mas que também têm qualidade individual, e acima de tudo, uma ideia de jogo positiva, nós não temos nada do género há mais de uns 14 anos.
Em 2016, fizemos o papel da Grécia, que tanto gostámos de criticar pelo estilo de jogo em 2004, mas eles eram tudo menos candidatos, agora há mais qualidade da nossa parte, é verdade, mas o treinador é apenas razoável e alguns jogadores, principalmente no ataque são mais vedetas do que jogadores de seleção.
