No context can recover a lot of the things he said, they’re there for all to see. It was his duty as club captain to not even entertain that line of conversation, especially at this point in the season.

To me we would not have won the cup final last weekend without Rodri. Along with so many other games, including the UCL final we finally won. He can shoot his mouth off and lead Real Madrid fans on and I may not like it, but it doesn’t make me want him out of the team. I think we should sign him to a 3 year deal right now.
