He was hampered by injuries, but ability-wise far from charity match level. I’m glad he retired before he ended up in a wheelchair, but Thiago is gonna look like, well, prime Thiago next to those players.

I think his best football was at Liverpool. He has learned to put intensity and press in addition to being an exceptional playmaker.
