  1. Respectfully I don’t get how you can put Gerrard above Dalglish or Rush, he’s our best player in the premier league era but those teams were winning three European cups and six league titles….

  2. You just know that the utter melts that think Carragher doesn’t rate Salah are going to use him being sixth on his list as proof of that, despite the fact that everyone ahead of him (and personally both Callaghan & Hansen should be as well) are there because they very much deserve to be.

Also Dalglish is, and forever will be, the greatest player this club has ever had.

  3. hmm mo salah at 6th? carra might be letting his little feud with mo cloud his judgment. but then again maybe i’m too young to fully appreciate barnes, rush and souness.

addendum: lol…downvoted for expressing an opinion while also acknowledging my own possible blindspots? stay classy as always you guys

also if you want to argue greatness, how about greatness off the pitch? combating negative stereotypes about muslims/people of middle eastern ethnicity etc.?

  4. Love his words on Souness. He’s completely right, he was a generational midfielder. The balls on him in 84 in Rome to take that penalty.

  5. My entire childhood was watching Stevie. I can’t accurately rate the generation before him, but for me, he will always be the greatest. If only he could have played in those Klopp teams and got more team success.

Also I will say I think prime VVD is the greatest cb ever. Idc if it’s a hot take, I think you put him in any team ever and they would be better for it

  6. Who cares what Carra thinks? He’s no Liverpool legend growing up as an Everton devoted fan.

Rush, dalglish, mo, and gerrard, these are the top 20

People offended that he ranked Salah as our fucking 6th greatest player of.all.time are utter helmets who jumped on the bandwagon in 2019

  8. I wonder where Alisson is for him. Hes been sensational. And was part of the catalyst that changed the team from being super attack dependent to some balance and allowed Klopp to scheme the way he did.

I might be alone in this take, but I’d swap Virg and Salah personally.

Salah has been an incredible servant for the club with an unreal track record, but I genuinely think I could make an argument for being in the conversation of greatest CB to have ever played the game. Obviously can’t do the same for Salah.

I have to say Allison Becker deserves mention here and Mo should be top 5.
