I don’t think Maddison being injured and Son leaving made us a relegation side mate

My distinctive moment in time where everything changed and has continued to get worse was romeros red card against Chelsea at home, when we were top of the table and 1-0 up playing beautiful football leading up to it

Chelsea. 4-1. The end of everything. We would have won the league if we hadn’t played that match.

It started when Ange was sacked despite winning trophy and making CL, and they replaced him with Gooner Frank

  5. Not long back after recovering from back injury suffered against Frankfurt in the uefa cup q/final, In a post season friendly on a two bob pitch. Just goes to show you what the true priorities of the club are. Rest him and we have a different story

  6. Let’s not pretend our relegation problem is something brand new. We got 17th in the league last year.

It all started when we didn’t make enough signings in the summer and signing Con-man Gallagher in Jan.

  8. Nah it all started from the window where we signed no one.

Look at Arsenal now. They were no different from us then. But they kept on investing in the squad

  9. For me it started from the disastrous Chelsea game where we lost Van de Ven and Maddison to long term injuries and a Romero red card. Later comes the following summer with no Prem proven signing besides Solanke, but the season somehow ended with a Europa League trophy which seemed like a turning point even though we threw away the league for it… but then I think the next big breaking point came which was Ange’s sacking. Instead of building up from our trophy win and backing a manager who all the players loved, our board kicked the man out. From there on, Son leaves, Madders gets injured, Kulu hasn’t came back still, and the team spirit just looks dead. It pains me
