Since November 2025, Man City has just not lost when Matheus Nunes has been on the pitch.

I checked it and it's true, even in Madrid home game, He was subbed so technically that's true

The thing is that he always puts a lot of attack from the right, creating chances and his offensive work is crazy

Been a proud and outspoken backer of this guy since the 24-25 season when he was being lashed at by many fans left, right and centre. What I loved about this guy was, despite being forced out of his natural position he did everything he could to put his body on the line and seemed committed at all times. He got his hands dirty and mastered that role – it’s no joke to top the charts in attacking and defensive stats as a left back. I’d pick a guy like that all day everyday over anyone else, he’s a true blue!

  3. It has been incredible seeing the change in attitude towards Nunes. Always had the skillset but never really gelled in the midfield, but his skillset lends to being the perfect right back for our system.

  4. I love this guy, he was also a major part of why we got to play champions league football this year thanks to his grand contributions alongside Josko last year

You can tell he’s out there to play football, stays focused, responsible, isn’t afraid to take responsibility, doesn’t sit around to shake his head and all those theatrics when he misses or the pass doesn’t go through

Simply goes back to his position and goes again. Love him
