      Best PL 11 would be 433 with both Gerrard and De Bruyne in midfield. Take your pick for DM – Keane, Viera, Rodri, Kante. Salah RW, Ronaldo ST, Henry LW. Back 4 = Trent, VVD, Terry and Cole. Cech in goal.

      KDB’s assist stats were held back for years by poor finishers like Jesus and Sterling who consistently wasted the clear cut chances he served on a plate for them.

      Chelsea has a habit of having this players that are so much better not on their squad. Torres, Lukaku, Pulisic, De Bruyne, Diarra, Falcao, Thogan Hazard, Lamptey, Salah, Scott Parker, Ake, Schevchenko just to name a few.

      I know english ppl wanna lick asses of scholes gerrard and lampard, Kdb did at wolfsburg and then broke records at PL. greatest ever midfielder in PL, I rate him way higher than modeic who won f all at tottenham nd got to wc final cz of heroics of GK in shootouts. His is at level of xavi iniesta.
      He is compared to english bums and Bruno fernades to drag his level down.
      Even i think David silva is better than Gerrard, lampard and scholes
      Best midfielder ever, only better midfielder arguments can be iniesta and Zidane .. no other I am sorry but that is a fact.
      Cant remember a bad game from him, if city or Belgium lost it is always by his team let him down by missing sitters, he alwayss created.
      one thing more I would like to add is key passes video of his 1 season alone is longer than some of midfielders whole career video.
      He was one of a kind, no weaker foot, his assists were assists and not like others which are either from cornera or a simple pass to a guy who dribbled and scored

      I don’t agree with Micah about Belgium: De Bruyne and Hazard had a great world cup together in 2018 (Courtois was another World Class member of that squad, by the way).

      De Bruyne was key in their comeback against Japan in that classic second round match, then brilliant when they knocked out Brazil in the quarters, scoring a great goal along the way. It was unfortunate that they lost 1-0 to a header off a corner to France in the semi final but I don’t think them finishing third (after wiping the floor with England) is failure at all. Only one team ultimately goes home happy after a World Cup.

      I don’t think it was any coincidence that De Bruyne struggled with injuries the next season after starring in the 100 points league win and then taking Belgium to the semi finals.

      As a City fan my favorite player is David Silva, but my God we are so lucky to have KDB AND Silva AND Aguero playing together…too bad it was before people understood how good City actually were those seasons pre covid

      Kdb could do what Zidane Xavi iniesta becham pirlo Modric ozil did. Hes a complete midfielder.pace shot power finishing dribble cross pass physical vision I mean hes just the most complete mids ever and most underrated

      Bro saw the pitch and the players in his mind. I see Bruno Fernandes emulating him. I wish Bruno gets the success KDB got. Even if it's for a season or two.
      KDB is the goat of assists. Not how many assists, but how he assisted.

      well chelksea had the front line of lukaku kdb hazard and salah and courtois as GK.. + fabregas kante etc etc would have destroy PL during 10 years if they manage to wait like 2 or 3 years that they all burst

      Also worth calling out that his stats used to improve at the business end of the season – creating more goals and more assists when it's time to win trophies. Incredible player
