There is no such clause, however there will be 0 barriers in place preventing a move away for Romero, if a realistic market value offer was submitted in my opinion.
There isn’t a healthy relationship between the owners and Romero, and given the circumstances we’re in, moving forward it’s in the best interests of everyone if we don’t have players who do hold valid bitter feelings towards the club when it comes time to try and get back up into the premier league.
I’d happily take that for him. He’ll be good surrounded by good players but he can’t elevate others. I’d let Danso step up and give a youth prospect a chance. They’ll at least play for the badge.
