I wanna take this moment to say something else in regards to this image. It seems crazy that this starting 11 didn’t actually play together more often. This was our strongest 11 in our mind right? Klopp always had to deal with adversity. Injuries are no excuse in my book. We beat Barcelona 4-0 without Salah and Firmino. So when slot talks about not having Isak fit, or having this or that player, as excuses for our terrible performances, think about this image.

This is 7 years ago tbf, that’s quite a long time in football.
Most of them were between 27 and 29 at the time too, the main Klopp team were quite close to each other in age by design. Trent of course could have stayed a lot longer given his age but otherwise this is just normal passing of time

Man I loved this squad and shame they only got 1 Prem and UCL because of fucking City’s oil money and losing out on the league twice by a point in heartbreaking fashion and Real Madrid’s black magic in the UCL.
However, it was a pleasure to watch these squads and will forever cherish these teams and will be sad to see the day that they’re all gone.
