Instead it’s dependent on his ability to say “yes sir” to Emperor Eghbali and the army of directors?

  2. Yeah it’s entirely dependent on his capacity to sexually satisfy the fuckheads running the club…

    What a disgrace.

How many times have I heard this.

At the end of the day, it comes down to whether he wants to boot lick Eghbali. If he can do that he stays in a job. If he has a backbone, he gets sacked.

Well if you don’t expect it to happen it definitely won’t.

If this is how things are gonna go, we might become a constant mid-table club real soon

  6. I don’t buy it. It’s just a vote of confidence till the end of the season. If we crash out on champs he will be gone.

  7. Btw Matt Law had similar reports mid-season about Potter and Pochettino and ended up sacking them anyway. Reality is Rosenior’s gone if we don’t finish Top 5

    LOL

Rosenior took over when we were 5th, enough to qualify for champions league

not qualifying for champions league and finishing below 5th would categorically be a failure

We used to be a club worthy of respect. Maybe a lot of people didn’t like us, but they were forced to respect us.

Now we’re just a running joke.

‘ The only scenario in which that stance could change would be if Chelsea were to implode over the final weeks of the season , but there is no expectation of that happening ‘

Since Enzo crashed the box and scored at the 74th minute of the PSG game , we’ve conceded 10 goals in 3 and a quarter games of football , and haven’t even considered thinking about scoring one since. Think about that for a second .. 10 goals in what ? Under 300 minutes of football ?

If that’s not the start of an implosion I wonder what is ? 12 goals in 300 minutes ?

  11. It’s more a question of how big the Blueco egos are. Can they admit they’re garbage at leading the organization?

  12. Not terribly well managed on the football, sporting or promotional side days were better.

  13. This is his biggest gig in his lifetime. Be it his playing career or managerial career.
He’s going to be okay with whatever the owners and the sporting directors ask him to do.
So there’s no chance he’d be getting fired.

Rosenior obeying the hierarchy with the daily “yes sir”. Pitiful. Since Maresca left has he ever talked about the club owners and what goes on behind the scenes? I imagine when he joins Man City next season he may discuss the differences between them and then we’ll all get a better insight of our club.

  15. Here is summary

    – Telegraph Sport understands that Chelsea do not plan to review Rosenior’s performance formally before the summer of 2027 and have no intention of making a change at the end of this season.

    – The only scenario in which that stance could change would be if Chelsea were to implode over the final weeks of the season, but there is no expectation of that happening.

    – While Chelsea’s aim is to qualify for the Champions League, Rosenior’s future does not depend on it and he would not be held solely responsible for missing out, having only taken over in January.

    – Chelsea view this summer as being critical in terms of recruitment with the club desperate to improve the mental resilience of the squad and provide Rosenior with a better balance of options.

    – Chelsea will look to sign at least one new central defender and want to add a midfielder and a forward. Goalkeeper Mike Penders is likely to return from his season-long loan at Strasbourg to compete for the No 1 spot, with a decision yet to be taken on whether to try to sign a new goalkeeper.

    – Chelsea believe that 41-year-old Rosenior is open to feedback and constructive criticism, and are confident that he can quickly learn from mistakes.

    – internal view at the club is that he can be fairly judged only over a period of 65 to 70 games.

    – Chelsea did not choose Rosenior, who signed a contract until 2032, from sister club Strasbourg as a three- or four-month appointment and were understanding of the fact that he needs time.

    – But Chelsea believe the main reason for their stop-start season has been the unplanned mid-season change of coach which the club were forced into when Enzo Maresca, the former head coach, effectively quit.

  16. What the fuck, his job safety should be in doubt right now let alone end of season. Fucking shambles. Project fc

  17. orangemonkeyeagl on

Folks change up so quickly, one week he’s the club’s savior, the next week he’s trash and a stooge.

  18. Just like Maresca was completely safe and would only get reviewed in the summer…

  19. Those who think that a managerial change will actually fix this, why?

How would changing managers again ever fix this. There is an obvious flaw within the structure of the club, at the very top level, seeping down. What in gods name will another new manager do to change that.

We’ve had meh results throughout basically the last 5 managers. Why would the 6th be the magical fix.
