  1. Personally I don’t get it. A season ticket seat isn’t a birthright. You will get reallocated somewhere else

  2. It’s shame and obviously it must suck for him and his family to lose a prime seat and probably get a really shit one going forward for the same price.

The thing that I really hate about it is what it’s making space for…a big part of our club’s culture being bad are these sorts of high end tourist tickets. Hate that.

    > From next season, he has been told he will no longer be able to sit next to his son as there are not two available seats together.

This is the really bad part for me. If your season ticket moves, I get that’s frustrating, but that sometimes is inevitable. Splitting the seats, so you can’t sit next to your son / family is a joke. Being with someone at the games is half the point of going, so if he has to sit next to strangers now to be a season ticket holder, that feels very unfair.

Unless there’s more to this story than reported, I don’t understand why they wouldn’t move the seats together.

This is just disgusting. The club is *nothing* without the fans, and having them treated like this for greed is a disgrace. Really hope enough pushback can cause a back track.

Absolutely disgusting but…… get used to it. They don’t give a fuck about normal people anymore. Even if we ALL boycotted and didnt attend, you really think they would care? They would just ship in more rich people to fill the seats. It’s the same everywhere now, not just football. The divide between us normals and the rich grows month on month

It’s not surprising given the attitude of the man in charge. Profits before people and that will continue. It’s just a business to them.

  7. As others have mentioned it’s a joke that the club are splitting up the two tickets. And if it’s true that they’ve been told there aren’t another 2 seats together anywhere else, I just don’t believe the club with that either. Me and my mate have season tickets and there’s plenty other season ticket holders around us, but there’s 2 seats that have been different people every week for about 3 years now. There’s obviously groups of 2 like that all over the stadium so why not find a solution. You can’t find these 2 fans 2 seats together anywhere else? The cynic in me worries that the owners hope they give up the tickets as they can make more money from giving those tickets to tourists
