The team isn’t that good IMO. Feels harsh to blame it all on him.

They need new starting GK, CBs, LW. Then need another set of squad players. I don’t think people realise how bad the squad is considering they’ve spent so much.

  2. The team building is abysmal. How can a owner spend 2 billion and not have a team capable of going for the league?

LinkedIn Liam is going to update his status to open to work in a few weeks. In way over his head.

  4. Meh I remember them calling Arteta cringey – the important part is player buy in.

The entire world can think he’s a twat, but if the players like his stuff it’s fine.

There is plenty of blame to go round.

Taking us from the second best defence in the league to one of the worst while destroying the confidence of both keepers is on him as is taking 2 points from Burnley, Leeds and Newcastle at home and Everton away.

  6. The CL race is always pretty interesting these days.

With Villa (most seasons) and us (sometimes) in the mix, and only 5 places, someone is always missing out, maybe two.

Tottenham have done the honourable thing and voluntarily dropped themselves out of the race by being so shit, but the other team to miss out will often be Chelsea. Especially now Man Utd have found a bit of form.

Rosenoir probably isn’t the right man, but 5th or 6th is probably around par for Chelsea.

I’m sure Manchester United under OLE did the same thing as Carrick is doing now and then failed with the last few games? I think they need 10 points for a definite top 4 finish but they have to play Chelsea, Liverpool, Sunderland,Leeds & Brighton all teams they have and will struggle against. I think Liverpool will get 3rd and 4th will be decided by if Villa priorities UCL or UECL and if Chelsea understand they have to attack and defend every game. Think United will get 5th though.

  8. Wouldn’t be solely his fault. But the bloke speaks like there’s a parasite nibbling on his brain or something. He’s definitely partly at fault. Could’ve easily got a better manager than him.

  9. There’s many reasons why Chelsea could miss on on a CL spot, the recruitment has been terrible to say the least. Instead of bringing in a mix of youth and experience, they’ve basically just gone the polar opposite and looked for young assets that they can flip, they’re basically just a more expensive version of house flippers. There doesn’t seem to be any actual desire to make the club successful and challenge for trophies.

Rosenior can only work with what he’s got but it doesn’t seem to me like he’s the right man for the job. You have to be built of something special to take on Chelsea, least you used to be at the very least and he’s way too inexperienced to handle everything that comes with the job. It doesn’t help either that he doesn’t really seem to know what he’s doing.

There needs to be a full reboot with a clear strategy.
