Fabrizio Romano: It’s true when Enzo Fernandez says he is not having negotiations or talks with Real Madrid, although he’s not denying any interest. The Spanish club will decide what they want to do with that position; talks are ongoing internally. Let’s wait and see.

Queue this sub’s “guy negotiating for better contract + assurances we challenge” cherry being popped…again.

He is gone, finally clearlake will begin to have to have karma for their dumb spending.

I personally feel PSG and Barcelona’s style of play kind of fits him better. But if he is a RM fan I can see why he isn’t considering Barce.

I’m hoping/praying this is a negotiating position where he’s like “I want more money, and the end of exclusively buying ten year olds or I’m leaving” because that could literally save the entire club

We’ll sell Enzo, bring in Barco to replace him.

Clearlake wanted this – exactly this.

I think the best and only solution If we don’t get CL is to guarantee the club will aim to challenge for the league next season, and if they don’t then they will allow him to leave at the end of next season. At this point it is what we would expect and have hoped for. They need to Recruit well and seriously (haha) and aim for a serious challenge.

We could well end up having no European football at all next season, which in theory, should allow us extra rest and more focus on the league. Again, will this happen? Probably not, so I have no idea what happens at the end of the season. Unless we bring in a competent coach and good players, we have little chance at the title.Â
