I am not anti Xabi by any means and I am still salty about how the club handled it all. But I am very pleasantly surprised by Arbeloa so far and I am completely willing to give him a chance for next season. He’s shown a lot of quality.

Arbeloa is lucky mbappe and jude are injured cause he isnt forced to play the big names, he can pit a sort of balanced team. He is quote mediocre and clearly just a yes man to florentino. Vini likes this type of couch that lets him be a shit head woth no consequences.

The “lost” look isn’t really there. The team responded better under pressure and didn’t collapse like in the first derby under xabi.

Arbeloa reverted back to opening up for more counters and long balls. Hence more space for vini and fede.
