Errr. He’s world class, actually, don’t you know? Can you take this down please….

  2. Honestly looks like hes hungover. Dragusin is crap but ran himself into the ground against Liverpool.

Feel like if they pulled their finger out Romero and VDV could probably keep us up on their own but neither look like they are at all bothered.

  3. I guess Sarr pulled off MGW because nobody was covering the byline. Sort of place one might expect the RCB to show up, but he was having a pleasant walk.

  4. Jogs back, goal conceded, throws arms up in the air having a go at everyone else.

    Sums us up completely

  5. i just want to compartmentalize that whole second half. i still want to hope that we stay up and that involves believing in this toxic and broken team even if i doubt their commitment to the club. i feel sorry for all of us knowing that things will likely not improve, possibly even get worse.

  6. This is supposedly our captain as well, a captain leads by example, if this is example then it’s no wonder there’s a severe lack of leadership on the pitch and in the dressing room.

He’s a fucking muppet. And i payed heard earned money to buy the shirt with his name on the back for my 10 year old son start of this season. Life as a Spurs fan…. JESUS F. CHRIST!

  8. Both Romero and Gray. 2 players, both entirely capable of stopping this easily, just fucking walking.

  9. Complacency from the top all the way down the players. It has to be all scrapped. Rotten from the inside

  10. All I see is Sarr run with his man and just leave him, causing the goal. Guess there is a reason. The shot also doesn’t show Danso moving to cover igor. Igor didn’t get the ball. Sarr stays with MGW there is no goal.

Fuck him never wanna see him wears Spurs shirt again. Rather have Dragusin. Adios

  12. That’s not just on him though.

How’s Porro got done THAT easily? He wasn’t even going fast.

How’s Bergvall not tracked the runner just in case?

How’s Archie been done THAT easily?

Then yeah, how’s Romero seen all of that unfolding and then still not tracked or bust a bollock at least trying to? If you LOOK like you’re at least trying, and concede anyway, whatever.

Romero should be aware of his body language as captain in the trenches like we are, he doesn’t look like he gives a fuck.

It’s a collective shit show at the back game after game.

Bench the fucker and strip him of captaincy. Send him to Betis for all I care next summer. Sick of our senior players.

  14. Were the players exhausted in this situation? Like were there a lot of running before this for Romero, Gray, Sarr etc.

Fatigue can be a real factor sometimes. Not sure if in this.

  15. mateojacquesweb on

Yep, that’s the “World Cup is around the corner” energy from him. Can’t blame him for being afraid of injuries, but you just can’t field a player with that mentality on a relegation scrap. Meanwhile you got argentinian teammates like Julián Alvarez playing like their lives depend on it.

    Get him out.

  16. Sarr leaves MGW to double mark Igor who has Danso on him already.

    Romero does what Romero does.

Tel is unlucky that he’s standing there looking like he’s doing fuck all because Sarr ran away seconds before the shot.

The breakdown is pretty much entirely on Sarr. Romero isn’t doing anything defensively but Sarr actively leaves a player to go mark another player that’s already been marked. I wonder why he didn’t play in AFCON outside of the 20 minutes he got?

  17. This was disgraceful. Everyone around me in the south stand was screaming at the players in the build up to this goal saying why are they just walking. You could see that we were going to concede. Just depressing honestly

  18. And yet these player have the gall to lash out about fake stories of them not caring.

We’re watching you actively not care.

  19. This is so embarrassing. Guy should be nowhere near the captains arm band.

The attitude shown here from the “leader” is exactly why we are in the position we are in.

  20. EquipmentRemarkable2 on

It’s cause just before this Romero goes on his signature move of trying to score a goal all by himself so when the ball is lost and is in transition he is all the way at the opponents box and does a half assed attempt at tracking back.

  21. Both our CB are shite. Long for the days of Super Jan and Toby. Team needs a huge overhaul, and going down to the championship while paying off a stadium is not going to help.

  22. Fuzzy_Kangaroo7566 on

Did you not notice Sarr tracking mgw , then just getting attracted to the ball ??
If he stayed with him , probably no goal ?

  23. He said in a promotional video before the game ‘we will fight’.

If that’s what fighting looks like, we are f****d

  24. shrimpandgumbo on

A lot of people blaming Sarr, as if it’s normal and expected for your world cup winning centreback captain to just idle about and take a few minutes off playing to watch the game instead.

  25. NateRageQuits on

I’ve said this a few times and I’ll continue to say it. Romero needs to be dropped. He’s a liability, shit captain and brings out the worst in VdV. When Danso is next to VdV he’s so much calmer and better positioned because Danso doesn’t sprint 20 yards randomly to try and murder someone.

  26. Raziel-Reaver on

Romero was definitely at fault, also Sarr was actually marking MGW then suddenly decided to leave him completely. That was terrible by Sarr.
