Now that's man city I knew, i criticised pep last week but I never wanted him to leave. I didn't understand why would he overthink on UCL knockout matches that made me disappointed. But today was much better performance from this man city. Cherki with his twinkle toes, Haaland bustung the balls of Saliba and Gabriel, khusanov and Ake deal with gyorekes and havertz like veteran legendary defenders,O Reilly being menace to the opposition with his runs Khusanov was a tank today. Better than Dias tbh.🥹

The drive to push for the goal and win the title was inspiring. Totally outclassed arsenal. Pep should stay

I forgot to mention James Trafford was brilliant in the final, amazing double triple saves , too good to be just a backup gk and to sit on the bench.

Well, it depends on the next season but def not this season. I didnt want him to leave this season before this match either

  3. Probably Arsenal fans.

On a serious note, I’m like you. I am upset with his overthinking attitude that may have cost us big time but i don’t want him to leave.

I love Pep, but he needs a rest. The more he stays, the harder it will be for us to move on. The man is traveling every week to Barcelona to see his family and handle personal matters. Let’s be thankful for what he’s done and recognize that it’s time to let him go.

No, never wanted him to leave but do want him to figure out this team quicker and return to dominant ways.

  6. I think his time is up but he’s more than earned the benefit of the doubt next season if that’s what he wants.

Who are the people who wanted him gone in the first place ? The whole team and culture has been made in his image. Every team goes through ups and downs. City as a club is lucky to have him for this long. I can’t even dare to imagine the day he announces that he is leaving City.

  8. Its good that we won but he looks tired, anyway he will decide the future in this international break according to the reports

This is all academic. Man City will never fire Pep, so he leaves at his own time. That’s either this season or the next. What will determine that is who the club (with Pep’s input) wants as his ideal replacement, and when they will be available.

I really don’t know why he overthinks it in big games, which we could had easily win (Real many times, Lyon,…) and why is forcing that slow 1000 passes tactic which clearly doesn’t have any effect anymore. I’m sure he can make a new tactic where we play faster that would suit our current players.

He tried the same tactic tens of times in last 2 years and failed miserably, this is the first time after many many games he finally changed something, but i think soon he will be back to his crap tactic where we get humiliated once again.

That’s why i think it’s time for someone new who can play to this team’s strengths, because Pep doesn’t want to.

Nope and I admit I was one of those doubters. My apologies the Great Wise Bald One.

I do hope it’s Xabi if that day does come. I absolutely don’t have faith in Maresca like at all.

This was one match. It’s better to leave while the ovation is still loud. Guardiola of today isn’t Guardiola of 5 or 10 years ago. It’s better to move on now.
