  1. If it comes down to goal difference it’s going to be hard for Celtic to catch up on that front. They have not been scoring much this season.

  2. Celtic have to be favourites. Just because every time I say that, it seems like they drop more points.

See just an aside though, I know it usually gets a lot of grief, but how good an idea does the Split look this season?

Hearts v Motherwell before the split going to have a big say in the outcome

I bought the last EA Sports game, first one I had in many years. I lead the season the entire campaign and then finished 1 point behind Rangers. I don’t believe in coincidences 🙁

Quite remarkable that in a season of RM, Rangers have only lost twice in the league.

  6. Not Celtic, certainly.

Probably still Hearts. Getting Shankland and Delvin back will give them a boost. Reckon they can see it out now.

  7. Rangers have the best goal difference and the least number of defeats. Hearts have the extra 2 points. Hard to say but for the first time in a long while, I’m saying Rangers. Just narrowly.

Hearts. They will drop points at Parkhead but they will grind out at least 9 points after the split. Shankland and Devlin are two huge influences on their team who are coming back at just the right time for them. I don’t see Rangers going on a 6 game winning streak.

  9. The defeat to Dundee a couple of weeks ago feels like it’s derailed what could’ve been a very fun ending to the season for Motherwell

Rangers only losing the two games up to this point may well save them, and considering the mess of the Martin era at the beginning of the season (hard to believe that was still this season….) it’s baffling to think that they might get it done.

Hearts are clinging on a bit, but they won’t care if all their wins between now and the end of the season are ropey 1-0’s. Nor should they.

We need so many favours from elsewhere to get it done now that it’s almost safe to say it’s not happening.

  11. Rangers defence is a lot more solid now Sotter has been droppwd. If the forwards can get their shooting boots on i think we will be favourites, though Shankland coming back improves Hearts chances.

I think no one believes their own team can do it. I certainly don’t believe Rangers won’t shite it and collapse if we have any real chance to go top.

  13. Martin O’Neill said we’re so far behind we aren’t even a threat, so clearly that rules us out.
