Say hello to the goalkeeper with the MOST CLEAN SHEETS (12) in LaLiga this season. And he just joined FC Barcelona. And it’s his first season at the top level. And his team plays a style that often leaves him exposed.

Stand up for Joan García. WHAT A SIGNING.

What Joan García is doing this season is absolutely insane. Leading LaLiga in clean sheets is already impressive but doing it in a high-risk, attacking system like Barça’s makes it even more remarkable.

Nice to get a clean sheet again, its crazy once we went from almost never conceding in La Liga to now only getting one here and there. 💀

The fact that with our style he still leads with clean sheets… Jesus, what a monster he is

  3. To lead the league in clean sheets behind the Barca high line and the offensive emphasis of Flick’s Barca (which has scored 18 more goals overall than any other team in La Liga) is even more impressive. Of course seeing some of the saves required to keep these clean sheets (like today) is even more stunning.

  4. He also has 9 goals saved, which is ridiculous, and a bad thing (for the defense).

  5. Said in the match reaction but, I don’t see why he doesn’t have a genuine case at La Liga’s best player award for the season.

IMO he should be the leading candidate right now.
