It’s the same challenge Jones was sent off for against Spurs in that fucked game two years ago. Go in out of control, get the ball and then hit the player high on the ankle/shin with your studs. Same exact scenario but only one is a red card
Ever since Klopp has that run with Tierney it’s been worse and worse for us. Mane and Salah in their prime couldn’t buy obvious fouls. Red card fouls never punished. The Diaz offside. It’s woeful. I’d love to prove that they’re corrupt but its probably they’re just incompetent judging by how everyone else views these absolutely useless bastards too.

We’ve had so many bad calls over the years but it’s worse this season. Especially the first few months. Our bad performances and results have helped take the focus away from the refs/VAR.

Tbf still Images don’t show the whole truth and there’s no statistics on how many times that happens to other teams. It’s anecdotal evidence with a sprinkle of selective perception. But yeah that doesn’t make it less annoying if and when it’s a wrong decision, especially when open sole is usually nothing to discuss and can’t be regarded by VAR as right decision when there’s no decision. That’s why we need the communication live when there’s contact, more often then not it feels like refs on and off the pitch just missed it. And if not what was discussed, why wasn’t he sent to check himself? You can’t tell me more than a few aren’t clear wrong decisions so the VAR can’t intervene.
You cannot convince me that there is not some form of collusion or illicit behavior within PGMOL. Any other possible explanation defies logic and common sense. I genuinely think AI should be running VAR at this point.
This season already is rough because the team is extremely thin and in shit form. Add in the horrendous officiating (for seasons now) and I’m about to require medication for my sanity.
