So true, shouldn’t have got Arna, Buchanan, Palacios, Frattesi(debatable), Asllani, Henrique, Correa, Taremi and Diouf just to name some. Just on the above examples, 143 million (with add ons, 160 mil) on transfer fees and 36 million on wages annually spent. Scouting needs some work from management.

Some are not the right fit, some are not at the technical level of this club and others were bought in panic. It’s fine if this happens couple of times but this has been way too frequent in past few years.

Especially for a club wanting to compete everywhere, we need to be way more efficient in the way we spend our money.

We have even played in a similar system since 2019 in a 3-5-2 but even now we aren’t getting players who are the right profile.

  2. Is it really an entire problem with scouting tho? Bisseck was scouted, Lauti was scouted, Thuram was scouted before he even shifted to a prima punta. Not saying our scouting department is perfect, but i feel a good 70% of the problems come from the ones making decision, hence the management

Add 10-15M to the price of each of those players mentioned in the tweet. That’s what they would have cost Inter, everyone jacks their prices up for Inter. We don’t get good deals unless we buy from Aarhus (apparently)
