Personally I think we need a striker more because Lewa just isnt of proper age anymore (I would still keep him on +1 year contract solely for his solid rotational quality and for everything that he has done for the club) rather than a CB. If we can get Bastoni it would obviously be fantastic, but not at the cost of compromises with the striker role. I dont think we have the money for Alvarez plus Bastoni, and I fear seeing a signing like Vlahovic who I absolutely cant stand as first eleven choice because I consider him mediocre and a difficult character. I also have a vague hope that Haaland would actually be interested in joining and that we can make it happen because marketing would actually even out a big portion of the cost.

why cant we take vuskovic and a striker ? vuskovic is quite young and will help in the long run
I think we can afford him alongside a striker as well if we sell Araujo Ferran Torres Balde Casado Ter stegen Ansu fati Lewa Christensen if we sell all of this players in the summer we can sign him and a world class striker is possible and I think we will get to the 1-1 rule before this summer we should be able to sign both positions hopefully Deco sell all this players and get Bastoni, Osimhen this summer, and if he does next season we can honestly win everything win the treble 💙❤️

Flick is kinda “Offense is the best defense” kind of guy. So don’t be surprised if he only signs a striker. Besides, he looks happy with Cubarsi & Martin pairing.
Personally, I’d say striker is more crucial right now. We waste so many big chances. I also think that Flick and the board is holding on buying defenders, because there’s a chance Inigo will be back to Barca after his contract ends, just like what happened with Cancelo.
I think we shouldn’t buy Bastoni because Bastoni plays in a 3 CB system, but we play with 4 defenders.
If we get to 1:1 this summer, then we should prioritise striker but don’t think any striker who raised the ceiling of the squad is available. Rather than Bastoni, we should try signing Vuskovic and Senesi considering we are so thin at CB, don’t think Christensen is never available and Araujo can’t get rid of his bozo genes
